In short: we only collect the information you choose to send us, we use it to answer you and provide our services, we never sell it, and this website does not use advertising trackers. We count visits with a tool that uses no cookies and does not identify you.
1. Who we are

2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form: name, email, phone number with country code (optional), helicopter model, service needed (including anything you type under “Other”) and your message.
- Quote list: your name, email, phone number (optional), an optional message, and the list of parts you ask about with their quantities, including part numbers you paste that are not in our catalog. If you choose “Continue on WhatsApp”, we save the request first and then WhatsApp opens with the same list.
- WhatsApp chat form: your name and phone number (with country code) and, if you opened the chat from a listing, the item you are interested in. We save them and receive them by email before WhatsApp opens, so we can call you back if the chat doesn't start.
- Sales inquiries: when you ask about a helicopter or part from our For Sale page, your message includes that item so we can answer about it.
- Third-party sellers: when we list an item on behalf of another owner, we publish the contact details that owner asked us to show (name, phone and/or email) on that listing, with their permission. They can ask us to change or remove them at any time.
- Consent record: when you send a form, we keep the consent you gave, the date and time, and the page you sent it from, as proof of your permission to contact you.
- Phone calls and emails: the details you share when you contact us directly.
- Customer records: if you become a customer, information needed to perform the work, such as aircraft details, maintenance records and billing information.
Information collected automatically
Like any website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data for security and reliability (IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time). We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or social media trackers.
Visit statistics: to know which pages are visited and where visitors come from, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser, and it does not follow you across websites or build a profile of you. It records the page viewed, the page you came from, your browser, operating system and type of device, your country and how fast the page loaded. We only see totals, never individual visitors. It is not loaded if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal.
Information stored only in your browser
To prevent spam, our forms save in your own browser (local storage) the date and time of your last submissions, so they can limit repeated sending. This record contains no personal details and is never sent to us. Entries older than 24 hours are deleted automatically the next time a page with a form loads, and you can clear it at any time from your browser settings. We do not keep a record of your searches on the For Sale page; the search terms only appear in the page address in your browser.
3. How we use your information
- To answer your request and give you information or a quote.
- To provide, document and invoice our services, including the aircraft records the law requires us to keep.
- To keep the website secure and prevent spam or abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We will not send you marketing messages unless you ask us to. If you give us your phone number and agree, we will only call, text or WhatsApp you about your request. Giving consent is never a condition of buying our services. We never send marketing text messages without your prior express written consent, and you can reply STOP, or tell us at any time, to stop receiving messages.
4. Legal bases (visitors from the EU, EEA or UK)
We process personal data based on your consent (contact form), to take steps at your request before entering into a contract or to perform a contract, to comply with legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests in running and securing our business.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We only share it with:
- Service providers that help us run the business and this website (website hosting, email, Cloudflare, which provides our visit statistics, and Google, which stores our form submissions), under obligations to protect it.
- Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and safety.
- A successor, in case of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business.
6. Third-party services
Our map is provided by Google Maps and only loads if you click “Show map”. When it loads, Google may collect data according to the Google Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab). Fonts are served from our own website, not from Google.
Visit statistics: provided by Cloudflare Web Analytics (Cloudflare, Inc.). Your browser loads a small script from Cloudflare and sends it the visit data described in section 2, without cookies. Cloudflare processes it on our behalf under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab), and may process the technical data of that connection (such as your IP address) to deliver the script.
WhatsApp: if you choose to chat with us on WhatsApp, you leave our website and your conversation is handled by WhatsApp (Meta Platforms, Inc.) under the WhatsApp Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab). We only use the messages you send us to answer your request.
Website content: our listings and gallery photos and customer reviews are managed with Sanity (a content management service). Visitors never connect to Sanity: the content, photos and attached documents are copied to our own website when it is published, and no visitor data is sent to Sanity.
Form storage and delivery: when you send the contact form or the WhatsApp chat form, your browser sends the information to Google (Google Apps Script). It is saved in a private spreadsheet in our Google Drive account (Google Sheets) and a copy is sent to our email inbox. Only our staff can open that spreadsheet; it is never public. Google LLC processes this information on our behalf under the Google Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab), and may process the technical data of that connection (such as your IP address).
Customer reviews: when a customer lets us publish a review, we show the name they chose, a short description (such as their aircraft or company) and their words. They can ask us to change or remove it at any time by emailing info@cavairhelicopters.com.
Photos of people: the About Us page shows a real photo of our team, published with their consent. If you appear in a photo on this website and want it removed, email us at info@cavairhelicopters.com and we will remove it.
Artificial intelligence (AI): AI tools were used to build this website and some of its content (see our Terms of Use). This website does not send the information you submit to AI tools, does not use it to train AI models, and does not use it for profiling or automated decision-making. Your requests are read and answered by our staff.
7. How long we keep it
We keep inquiries, including the rows saved in our spreadsheet and the emails we receive, only as long as needed to answer them and follow up, and we delete them on request. Customer and aircraft maintenance records are kept for as long as required by aviation regulations, tax and accounting laws. After that, we delete or anonymize the information.
8. How we protect it
This website does not collect payment card or bank details and does not process payments; payment is arranged directly with us by phone, WhatsApp or email. It uses encrypted connections (HTTPS) and a strict security policy, and access to personal information is limited to people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live (for example California, other U.S. states with privacy laws, or the EU/EEA/UK), you may have the right to:
- Know and access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your information.
- Receive a copy of your information in a portable format.
- Opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising (we do none of these).
- Withdraw consent at any time, and appeal a decision about your request.
To exercise any right, email info@cavairhelicopters.com or call +1 954 822-7398. We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within the time required by law. You may use an authorized agent. We will never discriminate against you for exercising your rights. Visitors from the EU/EEA/UK may also complain to their local data protection authority.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track: we honor these browser signals: when your browser sends either of them, the visit statistics tool is not loaded. We do not track visitors across websites.
10. Children
This website is intended for adults and businesses. It is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU), and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International visitors
We are located in the United States, and the information you send us is processed in the United States. Google may store form submissions, and Cloudflare may process visit statistics, on their servers in the United States or other countries.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when this page was last published; the text on this page is the current version. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
