- Under U.S. Federal Aviation Regulations (14 CFR 91.403), the owner or operator of an aircraft is primarily responsible for maintaining it in an airworthy condition. Nothing on this website changes that responsibility.
- Sending a request through the website does not create a contract or reserve a service until we confirm it.
3. No payments on this website
- We never charge anything through this website. It does not sell online, process payments or ask for card or bank details.
- Prices are negotiable. Prices, payment method and terms for any service, part or aircraft are discussed directly with you by phone, WhatsApp or email, and agreed in a written agreement or invoice.
- U.S. dollars: all prices shown on this website or quoted by us for helicopters, parts and services are in U.S. dollars (USD), and payments are made in U.S. dollars unless we agree otherwise in writing. Currency conversion costs, bank charges and transfer fees are the customer's responsibility.
- Protect yourself from fraud: we will never ask you to pay through a link, a form on this website or an unexpected message. If you receive a payment request that seems to come from us, confirm it first by calling us at the number published on this website.
4. Helicopters and parts for sale
The For Sale page lists helicopters and parts we offer. For every listing:
- Not an offer: listings are an invitation to contact us, not a binding offer, and nothing can be bought or paid for on this website. A sale only exists once both parties sign a written purchase agreement or invoice that sets the final price, condition, documentation, delivery and warranty (if any).
- Prices and availability: prices are in U.S. dollars, exclude taxes, fees, shipping, export and handling costs unless stated, and may change without notice. Items are subject to prior sale. «RFQ» or «Request for quote» means no price is listed and the price is provided on request, in reply to your quote request. A crossed-out price shows a previous or reference price; the percentage shown is calculated from it.
- Parts catalog: the parts catalog is generated automatically from our stock list. Part numbers, names, conditions and quantities are shown for reference only, may contain errors or be out of date, and must be confirmed by us in writing before purchase. When the same part number appears more than once in our stock list with the same condition, the catalog shows it once with the quantities added together. Prices shown for parts are per unit. A part shown in the catalog may already be sold or reserved.
- Condition codes: the condition shown for a part comes from our stock list: New (NE), New Surplus (NS — new and unused, from surplus stock), Overhauled (OH), Serviceable (SV), As Removed (AR — as taken off an aircraft, not inspected), Used, and Beyond Economical Repair (BER). It is shown for reference and must be confirmed by us in writing, with the applicable documents, before purchase. Parts shown as As Removed or Beyond Economical Repair are not offered as airworthy or ready to install, and a condition shown on this website is not a certification of airworthiness.
- Models and “Fits”: when a part shows a helicopter model (for example “Fits MD 500”), that is the model recorded for it in our stock list. It is a guide and not a statement that the part is approved for, or will fit, a particular aircraft, serial number or configuration. The buyer is responsible for confirming applicability against the manufacturer's current parts catalog and approved data before purchase and installation. The catalog may list parts for models and variants that are not among the helicopter models shown on our maintenance pages (for example, the Agusta A109A); listing a part for a model does not by itself mean that we offer maintenance for that model. Ask us.
- Pages by model and by part type: the pages that group parts by helicopter model or by type of part are generated automatically from the names and models in our stock list. A part may appear in a group that does not describe it exactly.
- Quote list: the quote list lets you ask about several parts in one request. It is not a shopping cart, an order or a reservation: adding a part does not hold it for you, and sending the list does not create a purchase. The “estimated total” only adds up the listed unit prices of the parts that show a price; it is a reference, is not a quotation, and does not include parts without a listed price, shipping, taxes, fees or export costs. The price that applies is the one we confirm to you in writing.
- Availability shown: “Sale pending” means the item is under negotiation and may become available again. Sold or withdrawn items are removed from the page, but a listing may remain visible for a short time after its status changes.
- Serial numbers and component times: when a part shows a serial number or component times (such as time since new — TSN, time since overhaul — TSO, or time remaining — TR), they are taken from our records for that unit as of the date the catalog was last synced with our stock list. They are shown for reference, are not a warranty of remaining life or of the part's history, and must be confirmed against the documentation of the part before purchase and installation.
- Customer reviews: the reviews shown on this website are from real customers and are published with their permission. They describe one customer's own experience, may be shortened or translated, and are not a promise that every job will have the same result, time or cost.
- Descriptions: we describe items in good faith from available records, but photos are illustrative and specifications, times, condition codes and documentation must be confirmed in writing before purchase. Errors in a listing do not bind us.
- Certificates and documents: certificates and documents shown or attached to a listing (for example FAA Form 8130-3, EASA Form 1 or logbook pages) are provided for reference only. We may require end-use information, decline sales, or need export licenses before shipping outside the United States. The buyer is responsible for import requirements in their country.
5. Trademarks and models
Bell, Airbus, Eurocopter, Leonardo, Agusta, MD Helicopters, Robinson, Rolls-Royce and other names and model designations are trademarks of their respective owners. We use them only to identify the aircraft and engines we service and the parts we list. CAV AIR HELICOPTERS is an independent company and is not affiliated with, authorized or endorsed by those manufacturers unless expressly stated.

The text, design, logo, photos and other content of this website belong to CAV AIR HELICOPTERS, LLC or are used with permission. You may view and share pages for personal, non-commercial purposes, but you may not copy, modify or reuse our content commercially without our written permission.
